BUILT-IN INSTALLATIONS

Our built in connection services cover our total built In range of product types with the exclusion of Hoods. For details of each product type please see the relevant connection information below. It is important to understand what each offer includes to ensure the connection will be successful when the installer arrives.

INTEGRATED APPLIANCE INSTALLATION IS FOR REPLACEMENT APPLIANCES, WHERE A NEW PRODUCT OF IDENTICAL SIZE CAN UTILISE EXISTING CONNECTIONS AND DOOR PANELS.

Appliance connections are grouped under the following sections :

  • Laundry and Dishwasher (Water) connections

  • Refrigeration connections

  • Built in Oven connections

  • Built-In Microwave, Coffee Maker connections

  • Electric Hob connections

LAUNDRY AND DISHWASHER (WATER) CONNECTIONS

We offer :

  • Removal of the plinth and panel door from your old appliance.

  • Connect to an existing 13amp power socket within cable length, including hard wiring.

  • Removal and replacement of plug where required.

  • Connection to water plumbing supply within 1m of appliance.

  • Connection to water supply connector if a safe and standard connection is present.

  • Connection to waste pipe within 1.5m from appliance.

  • Replace door and plinth, level and test appliance.

  • Removal of old appliance, where required.

  • Removal of all packaging.

We are unable to connect if :

  • Kitchen carpentry needs major adjustment.

  • Extended waste piping is being used.

  • Poor unsuitable plumbing is identified by the installer and pose risk of leakage.

  • General assessment by installer suggests the connection would be unsafe.

BUILT-IN OVEN INSTALLATION

We offer :

  • Connection into pre-existing cabinet space for oven.

  • Connect to an existing 13amp power socket within cable length, including hard wiring.

  • Removal and replacement of plug where required.

  • Appliance screwed into position.

  • Test appliance to ensure safe and ready for use.

We are unable to connect if :

  • Cabinet space is not standard and carpentry is required.

  • Cabinet space needs to be created/adjusted for oven.

  • General assessment by installer suggests the connection would be unsafe.

BUILT-IN HOB INSTALLATION

We offer :

  • Disconnection if required first.

  • Connection to existing electrical supply.

  • Appliance is tested to ensure it is ready for use.

We are unable to connect if :

  • If the hob is not sited above an oven and there is no heat deflector in place.

  • There are flammable items in the hot zone.

  • General assessment by installer suggests the connection would be unsafe.

BUILT-IN FRIDGE FREEZER INSTALLATION

We offer :

  • Removal of the plinth and panel door from your old appliance.

  • Connect to an existing 13amp power socket within cable length, including hard wiring.

  • Removal and replacement of plug where required.

  • Replace door and plinth, level and test appliance.

  • Removal of old appliance, where required.

  • Removal of all packaging.

We are unable to connect if :

  • Kitchen carpentry needs major adjustment.

  • Electrical extension leads are in use.

  • General assessment by installer suggests the connection would be unsafe.
